Cookie Policy - Snomi

Version: 1.1 Effective date: 4 August 2026 Controller: Łukasz Stolarczyk, ul. Widok 31, 40-118 Katowice Contact: hello@snomi.app

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored by the web browser on the user's device when visiting websites. They enable recognition of the user on subsequent visits, remembering preferences and analysing how the website is used.

Related technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels work in a similar way - this Policy covers all of them.

2. Scope of application

This Cookie Policy applies to:

  • the informational websites at snomi.eu (landing; the Polish site is snomi.pl; snomi.app redirects to snomi.pl),
  • the application panel at panel.snomi.app.

Each of these zones uses partly different types of cookies - they are described in detail below.

3. Types of cookies used

3.1. Essential (technical) cookies

These are strictly necessary for the Platform to work. They cannot be disabled without losing the ability to use the Service. They do not require the user's consent.

Name / type Zone Purpose Lifetime
snomi_token (JWT session cookie) panel.snomi.app Identification and maintenance of the logged-in user session (httpOnly, Secure) Browser session / token validity period
Stripe cookie panel.snomi.app Secure payment transactions via Stripe According to Stripe's policy
Cookie consent cookie snomi.eu Remembering the user's cookie decision 12 months

Google account sign-in. If the user chooses to sign in with a Google account, during sign-in they are redirected to Google pages, which use their own cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Snomi does not embed Google scripts in the panel - Google cookies are stored on the Google domain, not on the Snomi domain.

3.2. Analytics cookies

Used to analyse website traffic and improve how it works. They require the user's consent. Used only on informational pages (snomi.eu) - the application panel does not use analytics tools.

Tool Provider Purpose Lifetime Provider policy
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Google LLC Traffic analysis, visit counts, user behaviour on the site Up to 2 years policies.google.com/privacy
Google Tag Manager (GTM) Google LLC Management of analytics scripts Technical (container) policies.google.com/privacy

Note: Google Analytics 4 with default settings may transmit data to Google servers in the USA. The Controller uses IP anonymisation in GA4. Data is transmitted on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). The data retention period in Google Analytics is 14 months.

3.3. Marketing cookies

At present Snomi does not use marketing cookies or advertising pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, etc.). If they are implemented, this Policy will be updated and users will be informed at least 14 days in advance.

4. Consent banner

On the first visit to snomi.eu pages we display a banner with cookie information that allows:

  • Accept all - consent to essential and analytics cookies,
  • Reject optional - consent only to essential cookies (analytics will not be activated),
  • Manage preferences - detailed selection of cookie categories.

Analytics cookies (GA4, GTM) are activated only after consent is given. Without the user's consent, no analytics scripts are loaded.

Application panel (panel.snomi.app): logged-in users use essential cookies (JWT session, Stripe). Consent to these files is given by accepting the Terms of Service at registration or first login - we do not display a separate cookie banner in the panel.

5. Managing cookies

5.1. Withdrawal of consent and changing preferences

The user may at any time change or withdraw consent to analytics cookies by clicking the "Manage cookies" link available in the website footer.

5.2. Browser settings

The user may manage cookies independently in their browser settings - allow, block or delete them. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent use of the Snomi panel (login, session maintenance).

Instructions for managing cookies in the most popular browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

5.3. Google Analytics opt-out

The user may disable Google Analytics tracking independently of browser settings by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Legal bases

The use of cookies is based on:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR - essential cookies (performance of a contract / provision of the service),
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR - analytics cookies (user consent),
  • Article 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Law - obligation to obtain consent to store cookies for purposes other than technical ones.

7. Changes to the Cookie Policy

The Controller reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy - in particular when new analytics or marketing tools are implemented. Users will be informed of material changes at least 14 days in advance via a notice on the website or by e-mail.

The current version of the Cookie Policy is always available at snomi.eu/cookies.
